YAMAHA PM5D RIVAGE. The YAMAHA RIVAGE PM5 mixing system brings together power and performance in a lightweight and intuitive console that is surprisingly slim. The addition of a third screen has made it possible to offer a more touch-centric interface in a compact and significantly lighter console that is easier to transport, configure and operate in a wide range of locations.

Redefined interface

A key element of the RIVAGE PM systems interface is Yamaha’s “selected channel” concept, which has now become an industry standard and provides direct access to the parameters of any selected channel via its corresponding SEL key. . The selected channel section provides quick and direct access to all channel parameters. Encoders, buttons and indicators are arranged in such a way that the available space on the panel is optimized to the maximum, making their use and handling comfortable in any environment or mixing situation. The RIVAGE PM series control surfaces feature three groups of 12 faders to which channels can be assigned as required. Depending on the console, some or all of the fader groups work with large touchscreens on the top panel, providing an evolved version of the Centralogic operating environment. Channel strips extend vertically and seamlessly integrate into touch panel displays for clear, logical control. In addition to allowing convenient and practical channel management in groups of 12 channels, this configuration also facilitates operation with two engineers, each managing different channel groups.

Everything at your fingertips and improved line of sight

RIVAGE PM tables are designed so that the touchscreens and the selected channel section are on a raised panel and offer optimal visibility from the engineer position, as well as easy access to all controls. This evolved console design also provides a closer connection with stage musicians thanks to improved sight lines that give the engineer a broader and more complete view of what is going on.

Get to record the audio of your event with professional quality

The ability to record professional-quality live is increasingly becoming an essential function of live sound consoles. In addition to the typical convenient 2-track recording to a USB flash drive, the RIVAGE PM series supports multitrack recording over a Dante audio network, meeting the demands of professional recording.
Multitrack recordings can be made on a computer with DAW software over a Dante audio network. It is possible to record in high resolution up to a total of 128 channels (input and output) at 96 kHz if the computer is equipped with a DANTE ACCELETATOR PCIe card (AIC128-D). With the Dante Virtual Soundcard, the maximum number of input / output tracks is 64.
